Denton, Texas is a Main Street City that tops a triangle formed by itself, Ft. Worth and Dallas. This area is traditionally referred to as the Golden Triangle and our largest shopping mall shares this name.

Established in 1857, Denton is the county seat of Denton County, and was named for John B. Denton. John Denton was a lawyer, preacher, and a soldier.
